Virtual author talks
Renowned authors including Fiona McIntosh, David Hunt and Michael Connelly, as well as landscape architect Costa Georgiadis, can be watched online, as part of the latest round of virtual author talks.
Bookmark competition 
The Worlds of Wonder Summer Reading Bookmark Design Competition is open to children and teenagers. The winning designs will be printed as bookmarks and distributed at local library branches.

Garage Sale Trail
Registrations are open for Garage Sale Trail. It’s Australia’s festival of pre-loved stuff held over three big weekends in November. Now happening online or in your community!
Australia Day Awards 
Nominations for The Hills Shire Council’s 2022 Australia Day Awards are now open. To nominate a deserving community member, search 'Australia Day Awards' on Council's website.

Roses galore
Spring has definitely sprung at Roxborough Park Rose Garden, located in Baulkham Hills. Head on down for a stroll around the garden and to admire the roses this weekend.
New metro walks
With lockdown lifted, now is the perfect time to try out a new scenic walk, and discover The Hills from station to station, with our brand new Metro Walks. Why not start with the Farm Walk this weekend!

Livvi's Place Playground
The Hills Shire Council is designing a fun and exciting playground extension at Livvi's Place, located within Bernie Mullane Sports Complex. Submissions close Monday, December 13.
North Kellyville Precinct
