A quick update from me today with news of some spooky goings on in Carrick this Halloween. Next week I hope to be able to share some news about how we’re making use of the shop in November and December. Watch this space!
Halloween Spooky Tours at Carrick Castle
This looks like a lot of fun and a brilliant use of the castle. Our friends at Carrick Castle have asked us to share the info which is also available on the Love Heritage NI Facebook page. I expect the tickets will go quickly - advance booking is essential.

A fabulous party has been arranged for all of the ghosts at Carrickfergus Castle and the highlight of the night is the Scary Screaming Competition….but all of the Castle’s very best screamers have vanished!! Professsor Thadeus Von Snoopright, ghost hunter extraordinaire, is on the case. Can you help him find the ghosts and solve this spooky Halloween mystery in time for the party? The creepy characters of Carrickfergus Castle will offer clues to help young ghost hunters solve this petrifying puzzle!
Recommended age: 5-11 years old. Please ensure that there is a minimum of one adult per two children. All persons, regardless of age, wishing to enter the castle must hold a ticket to gain access.
