Dumbleyung Refuse Site Attendant – Casual
Kukerin Refuse Site Attendant - Casual
 
The Shire of Dumbleyung is seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals who would like to join our team as a Casual Refuse Site Attendant at our Dumbleyung and / or Kukerin Refuse sites. Applicants may choose to work at one or both locations.
 
The hours of operation at the refuse sites are:
Dumbleyung 9.00am – 1.00pm Thursday
8.00am – 12noon Sunday
 
Kukerin            9.00am – 1.00pm Wednesday
1.00pm – 5.00pm Sunday.

Expressions of Interest are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and can be emailed to mdavidson@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au or hand delivered to the Shire Administration Office, 32 Harvey Street, Dumbleyung WA 6350.
 
Expressions of Interest must be received by no later than 4pm on Thursday 4th November 2021.

Call For Farm Details
The Shire of Dumbleyung is compiling a register of all farm contact details and farm firefighting equipment. In the event of a fire, farmers can be contacted, and resources can be located promptly.
All information collected will ONLY be accessible by the Bush Fire Brigades and Shire of Dumbleyung CEO in the event of a fire/emergency.

Congratulations to Ross Robinson & Petronella Andersson who took the pledge on Thursday 21 October 2021 in the Shire of Dumbleyung Council Chambers to become Australian Citizens.

Call-out for Bain Family Memorial signage review
We are welcoming community feedback on interpretive signage for the Bain Family Memorial.

Cat and Dog registration renewals for pets currently registered with the Shire of Dumbleyung will be sent out soon.
Cat and Dog Registrations are due by the 31 October 2021.

Recycling in the Shire of Dumbleyung
Simply bring your recyclable pods and batteries into the Shire office and place them in their respective box. 
Remember, we are also a recycling point for Ink Cartridges and Mobile Phones.
Should you require shredded paper to make fire bricks or for pot plants please do not hesitate to grab a bag. This paper is not recyclable and will only go to landfill.
Remember, please visit https://www.dumbleyung.wa.gov.au/contactform to report works and roads maintenance or call 9863 4012 and the office can submit a report for you. Your eyes in the community are a great help, thank you!
