 Compass Sport Trophy - Report from Rob
We checked with Nick Barrable, and he has confirmed that the last time MOR were in the CSC finals was the late 80s. We were 2nd in 1989 and 3rd in 1988 in the Trophy competition, which is for smaller clubs. So that means it is over 30 years since we were in the finals. Our juniors did particularly well - the Howards, McLuckies, Daniel Campbell and Michael Bishenden all had good runs. We were well supported by the adults - the pressure was on not to mis-punch in a tricky area with lots of pits and other confusing features, as we only had 14 runners with 13 to count. We were 4th overall out of 13 teams, and were just pipped by Interlopers to the position of best small club in Scotland. Thanks are due to South Yorkshire Orienteers for organising the event at such short notice. Over 800 runners took part in the event.
The Finals are being held in Scotland next year, so maybe we can go one better….! Team Results Individual results

Main Club League update

Moray Mix weekend
Entries closed last night for this weekend's Moray Mix. It promises to be a great weekend and 34 MOR members have entered. Those who offered to help should also have received a plan of their jobs each day, from Liz and Morag.
