• This is a permanent faculty position beginning in December of the current 2021-2022 school year.
• The course load includes responsibility for lesson planning, grading and comment writing for three sections of 6th Grade Earth Science. The teacher is expected to tailor and develop the curriculum for the Earth Science course to engage students in activities and lessons that focus on the study of the planet and its relation to the rest of the universe. Connections to our local geography should also be incorporated into the curriculum. As academic advisor, the teacher will provide guidance to 15 students to check daily planners and help students understand and manage expectations. In addition, advisors will oversee student/parent conference day each semester to review student progress.
• The position also includes daily support such as carpool, study hall and lunch duties and some Friday afternoon boat building activity support.

The Resilience Program Assistant will work with Consortium staff to produce the end product(s) and may present it at local and regional meetings.
