Maths Teen Scavenger Hunt (for TY/Y12 students)

Join the Maths week team for a fun, collaborative and energetic scavenger hunt that will have you competing with other schools. The challenges are designed to accommodate all abilities and creativity is highly recommended. All you need is 1 mobile phone for the class and someone that is designated as the director. Using Storybooks in the Primary Mathematics Classroom
Two primary teachers share their experiences of using storybooks and in particular picture-books in the maths classroom. Grainne Higgins (Co Offaly) and Edward Fitzgerald (Galway) have successfully used these books in maths class and researched the practice. They have prepared two videos to share their learnings with other teachers.
