Weekly Announcements: October 18th, 2021

Hey everyone!
Here are your weekly announcements:

Fun Week

As we are nearing the halfway point of the semester, during our basic classes we will be having Fun Week! Instructors will use this time to go other different styles of dances or dips/tricks, so you definitely don't want to miss out on any of that excitement.

Mid-Semester Switch

Beginning next week, all of our instructors will switch over to other styles of dance, so if you haven't been coming to a class, now is a great chance to hop in and try something new. Moreover, feel free to bring your friends, basic dues will be reduced to only $25 for new members.

SMU Competition

Our SMU Competition is this weekend! For those competing, you should have all your details already confirmed, but feel free to check #competitors or message your captain @Maya if you need any clarifications. For everyone else, wish our competitors good luck, especially for our newcomers attending their first comp.

DDF Competition

The country team will also be competing at the Dallas Dance Festival in early November (4-7th). If you plan to compete, you should have already filled out the form last week. You'll receive more information on logistics in the coming weeks from your country captains.

HSOP Skate Night

The Healthy Student Organization Program is hosting a skate night next Monday, the 25th from 6-8 PM, and if you sign up soon, they will pay for your whole visit. This is a good chance to go have some fun with your friends or to hang out with your families. Full info is available in the image below.

Chipotle Profit Share

We will be having a profit share with the Chipotle on Guad next Wednesday, the 27th from 4-8 PM. Drop by, bring along your friends, and help support Texas Ballroom. This will also be an strong opportunity to hang out some with your families before heading to Social Class.
