New Month, New Directions

Happy Fall from everyone at New Directions! We hope your October has been “gourd” and full of treats. We hope you take advantage of the crisp, cool weather while it lasts! What are you excited to do this month? You might go apple picking, take a nice walk through the colorful trees, or put together a fun costume for you or someone you love.

Whatever you do, know that New Directions is here for every step of the way! This month, we’re excited to show our progress. We’ve helped many individuals in recovery this year and our facilities are continuing to grow. Take a look below for our updates.

PROGRAM UPDATE

New Directions A Way Out program has served 139 individuals since the beginning of this year! These are individuals we were able to help at a crucial point in their early recovery, helping them into detox, treatment, sober living, or other community recovery resources.

New Directions is proud to currently employ four successful past residents. Their positions vary from management and administrative roles to Case Management and Recovery Coaching. We are proud to be a leader in the peer recovery model in McHenry County.

SECOND BUILDING AT THE RETREAT IS NOW OPEN!

Building B is now open at The Retreat! The facility has an added 19 beds of sober living.
