Recap: October 26th Steering Committee Meeting

Thanks to all the stakeholders who attended the October 26th Steering Committee meeting! Meeting notes can be viewed here

During our October meeting, the committee was introduced to Shoal Creek Conservancy's new Watershed Coordinator, Sierra DaSilva, who will be working with the rest of the SCC team to implement the Watershed Action Plan. The committee also heard updates on the Northwest District Park vision plan, on SCC's Creekside Neighbors Program, the ecological restoration work that has begun at Seiders Springs, and the latest EPA 319 Clean Water Act Grant which will fund plan implementation.

Upcoming Steering Committee Meeting: January 25th

The next Steering Committee meeting will be held virtually at 1pm on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Steering committee meetings are open to all watershed stakeholders! Join the meeting here. Meeting agenda can be viewed here.

Get involved!

Join us in February for a creekside tour or a volunteer creek cleanup! We will be partnering with the Central Texas Mycological Society to offer a Fungi Tour along Shoal Creek on February 5th. There will be a volunteer trash cleanup opportunity on February 11th at the Shoal Creek Headwaters. We will also be partnering with Travis Audubon Society to offer a Birding Tour on February 20th, at Northwest District Park.
