This is the last call to reserve your spot at our reception to celebrate the 98th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. Majority of our seats have now been claimed and we urge you to complete your reservation before we close the registration on Tuesday October 19. Please consider donating even if you're not able to attend the event. We hope to see you there.
As a reminder the reception will be held in the 42 Degrees North Room at the Marriott Hotel in the Renaissance Center, downtown Detroit on Saturday, October 23, 2021 starting at 7:00 pm. Here is a sneak-peek of the location.
You can reserve your spot by:
1) Making a minimum donation of $100/person using our Paypal or mail a check payable to TACAM at PO Box 3445 Farmington Hills, MI 48333 by Sunday October 17, 2021 then
2) RSVP email to contact@tacam.org.
We also would like to share the Marriott Hotel reservation link for those guests who would like to stay at the hotel after the reception. Due to the pandemic, this year our reception will be limited to 100 guests. COVID vaccination cards are required (no exceptions) and social distancing of min 3-feet will be imposed. Unvaccinated kids under 12 are not allowed. Temperature checks will be conducted at the door. In addition, the reception area overflows to an outdoor patio for those guests to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Detroit River, Ambassador Bridge, and Windsor, Canada (weather permitting). The dress code for the event is formal attire (black-tie optional).
This year, we opted for a rich reception package that features tastes from Eastern Market, Greektown, Mexicantown, and Midwest comfort food for your enjoyment. We are also pleased to announce that the dessert for the event (baklava) will be provided by our dear friends in Lansing: Social Sloth Café (http://www.socialslothcafe.com/)
Valet and self-parking are available at the Marriott Hotel at Renaissance Center.
