Faces of Open Government: Ines Pousadela

Ines Pousadela is a researcher for OGP’s Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) and is a Senior Research Specialist at CIVICUS. As an IRM researcher, she has assessed commitments in Chile, Argentina, and other countries. She sat down with OGP ahead of IRM Week to discuss the importance of ambitious commitments, protecting civic space, and the future of OGP. Read the interview here.

Steering Committee Rotation

On October 1, the new Steering Committee members Doug Rutzen, Luben Panov, and the governments of Estonia, Morocco, and the UK, and re-elected members Anabel Cruz, Lucy McTernan, and the governments of Korea and Nigeria began three-year terms.

Co-Chair Selection

We are pleased to announce that the government of Estonia and Anabel Cruz (ICD Uruguay) have been elected by the Steering Committee as the next co-chairs of OGP. Both will begin their term as incoming co-chairs on January 1, 2022, and lead co-chairs on October 1, 2022.
