The Legislative Special Session on Redistricting will begin on November 3rd and end before Thanksgiving. Redistricting is the process of drawing the lines of districts from which public officials are elected - it will decide what Georgia looks like for the next decade. Fair Districts Georgia is a wonderful go-to source for learning about Redistricting. I especially appreciate their work with the Princeton Gerrymandering Project to create benchmarks based on the 2020 census that will help us judge the fairness of the districts the legislature proposes.
