Im September fanden erneut zahlreiche Internationale IRO Prüfungen in den Sparten Fährten-, Flächen- und Trümmersuche statt. Unsere qualifizierten und ehrenamtlich tätigen Leistungsrichter reisten nach Tschechien, Estland und Kanada.
Neben den IRO Richtern leisten auch unsere Trainer sowie Beurteiler einen wesentlichen Beitrag dazu, unsere hohen Qualitätsstandards in der Ausbildung von Rettungshundeteams sicherzustellen. Daher freut es uns ganz besonders, zwei neue IRO Beurteiler in unserem Expertennetzwerk begrüßen zu dürfen. Personelle Neuigkeiten gibt es übrigens auch in der IRO Geschäftsstelle.

Zwei neue IRO Beurteiler verstärken das Team

Wir freuen uns bekanntgeben zu dürfen, dass Claudio Bötschi (CH) und Christian Danler-Swatt (AT) im Rahmen der 115. Vorstandssitzung als IRO Beurteiler bestätigt wurden.

Die IRO Trainingsanlage ist für 2022 bereits gut gebucht. Falls noch jemand ein paar Trainingstage auf dem Gelände in Ulrichsberg/Schöneben, Österreich, verbringen möchte, am besten rasch buchen, da nur noch wenige freie Tage verfügbar sind.
Genutzt werden können die Trümmeranlage sowie Wald- und Wiesengelände entsprechend Infosheet (siehe Seite 5). Außerdem stehen auf der Anlage Geräte für Unterordnung/Gewandtheit zur Verfügung.

Bernadette verstärkt die IRO Geschäftsstelle seit einigen Tagen als Teamassistentin und ist uns bereits jetzt eine große Hilfe.
Die Studentin des Bachelorstudiengangs Sprache - Wirtschaft - Kultur hilft überall da, wo es gerade nötig ist. In erster Linie wird sie sich jedoch in der Büroverwaltung und Veranstaltungsabwicklung tatkräftig einbringen.

In September, numerous International IRO Testing Events took place in the disciplines of Tracking, Area and Rubble Search. Our certified and honorary judges travelled to the Czech Republic, Estonia and Canada.
In addition to the IRO Judges, our Trainers and Classifiers also contribute significantly to ensuring our high quality standards in the training of search and rescue dog teams. Therefore, we are especially pleased to welcome two new IRO Classifiers to our expert network. By the way, there is also staff news in the IRO Office.

The IRO Training Facility is already well booked for 2022. If anyone would still like to spend a few training days at the site in Ulrichsberg/Schöneben, Austria, better book quickly as there are only a few available days left.
The rubble facility, forest and meadow areas can be used according to the info sheet
(see page 5). In addition, equipment for obedience/dexterity is available on the premises.

Bernadette joined the IRO Office a few days ago as Team Assistant and is already a great help to us.
She is a student of the Bachelor's degree programme Language - Economy - Culture and helps out wherever it is needed. But primarily she will assist in the Office Administration and Event Management.
