Our online shop remains open as well and we're still shipping and doing contactless pickups. Please, don't hesitate to reach out to us if we can assist in any way.

[NB: Unless otherwise specified, yarn, needle, accessory, and book links/images will take you to our website and pattern links/images will take you to Ravelry.]

We have another schedule change to announce and we think you're going to like this one!

After a looong hiatus, we're bringing back Sunday hours. Beginning this Sunday, the 17th, we'll be open from 1-5pm.

Sundays have historically been a pretty slow day for us which is why they went the way of the dodo for a while. But with our limited weekday hours these days we thought it was time to bring them back into existence. Help us keep them on the schedule and shop with us on a Sunday!

Let's get to the good stuff...

Crafty Countdown - Week 2

Whose hands are starting to get a little chilly when out walking the dog in the morning or popping down the driveway to grab the paper?

Since we're still feeling optimistic about how long we have to finish our gifts, let's think about fingering weight mittens this week!

For the crocheters (top to bottom, left to right) - Basic Mittens, Mittens, E Mittens, Hedera Mittens

For the knitters (top to bottom, left to right) - Better Together Mittens, Hely, School Mittens, Sagostad

We love the idea of jazzing up a plain pair of mittens with self striping/patterning yarn (like the crochet "Mittens") or holding several strands together to make squishy, hard-wearing, marvelous marls (like the knit "School Mittens").

Our fingering weight shelves are stuffed with yarns that would be great for all of these patterns. Need a recommendation on what would be best for a particular one? Come on over or shoot us an email, we're glad to help!

Restocked!

Our beautiful, exclusive colorways from Round Mountain Fibers -
Blue Lobster (above) and Lobster Blue (below) - are back. This fingering weight is great for everything from shawls to sweaters to mittens (see above!).

A note that this batch of Lobster Blue is much more purple-leaning than previous ones. We have a few skeins of the blue-er version at the shop but if you purchase online you will receive the new purple-y skeins.

These colors always fly off the shelves when they arrive so be sure to get yours quick!

Berroco Project of the Week
(Yarn and pattern links in this section will take you to Berroco's pages for the design and the yarn.)

A Great Gift

This week's project - Waitsfield - would make a wonderful present for someone in your life.

Knit using the mosaic stitch popularized by Berroco's Fern Lake Blanket, this scarf uses 3 colors of Mochi to create a cozy, color-blending scarf. The finished size is 15" x 70", ready to keep even your chilliest friend warm.

Mochi retails for $12/ball and comes in these 12 colors.

The sample shown uses 2 balls each of Garnet, Red Bean, and Vanilla, if you'd like to duplicate it. Otherwise, pick your 3 favorites and get to knitting (we think those lighter shades would make for some gorgeous color washes).

As always there is an additional $7 shipping charge for these drop ship orders so Berroco can send them straight to your door.

Want to order one of these kits? Go to Berroco's pages for the design and yarn to check out the details and choose your size and color (clicking on the links/pictures above will take you straight to them!). Then click here and send us an email. We'll be in touch to confirm your information and process your payment.

Is there an older Project of the Week that you're still thinking about? We can likely still get it! Check the Berroco 1-2-3 Dropship Store to figure out all the details and then use the email link above to send us a message.
