Tim and Dale will apply narrative therapy approaches to counselling people who have been subject to sexual violence. The session includes a specific account of Dale’s experiences of childhood sexual violence. What is presented will contest traditional ideas around sexual assault counselling. There will be an opportunity to explore beliefs around vulnerability and shame in your own work.
The Collab Salon is open to people from any discipline/background interested in learning more about narrative practices. Everyone can register for our Monthly Collab for free. However, if you can, become a Collab Salon member, since our collective membership dues help with ongoing maintenance and development of our training initiatives.
We always meet the 3rd Sunday of the Month at 4:00-5:30 pm New York time. Remember Collab members can earn 18 CEs for the 2021 series by joining us live and/or catching up on video recordings. |

Collaborative Narrative Training Network Calendar |
BRINGING TOGETHER INDEPENDENT NARRATIVE TRAINING INITIATIVES FROM AROUND THE WORLD |
|
|
|
The Collaborative Narrative Training Network Calendar builds on Michael White & David Epston's dream of creating a network of independent narrative training initiatives from around the world. In the spirit of communities in connection (rather than individuals in competition), our vision is to bring together a network of independent narrative training initiatives around the world that share the commitment to preserve, develop, and extend the legacy of narrative therapy. Together with our partners, we aim to create a central place to find, coordinate and support high quality independent narrative learning opportunities including: 1) training events; 2) narrative training intensives, international diplomas, and apprenticeship programs; 3) online courses.
Our streamlined user-friendly calendar displays upcoming narrative training offerings alongside their country code and in local times converted to New York Time. With the help of our partners, we aim to update the calendar on a monthly basis. Watch for a blog series over the next few months introducing you to our partner organizations and the diverse work they do. Beginning with Narrative Practices India, we are excited to highlight emerging narrative initiatives from around the world.

ONE SPACE LEFT IN NEW GROUP! |

|
The EM-BODY-ing Conversations Consultation Group is for mental health workers or educators who have had experience with mindfulness, EMDR Therapy or Somatic-Oriented Therapies in addition to a Narrative Therapy approach. Through sharing tales of our work with those who consult us, we will explore what becomes possible when we create different kinds of scaffolding using sensations, images/visual metaphors and memories in non-discursive ways. Talking about anti-racist and inclusive somatic practices will be privileged throughout our time together. As a prerequisite, participants will have previously taken an Em-BODY-ing Conversations training (online or in person) or have experienced integrating at least one of the following modalities with a Narrative Approach: mindfulness, somatic therapies, EMDR.
New Group starts October 21 and will meet via Zoom twice monthly on Thursdays 6:00-7:30 pm New York time ( 3:00-4:30 pm Pacific time)/ Six sessions: October 21, November 4 & 18, December 2 & 16, December 30 or January 6. The fee is $390 regular and $300 reduced international rate. There is one space left |
