The Power of Community

It was a perfect crisp fall day for yoga, led by @heather_kovaci_yoga at Sheldon Field Park, followed by Negative Net Hiking in the Northampton downtown area.

After the relaxing session, participants removed four garbage bags of trash from the local area, leaving the space better than they found it, helping Increase Nature's Share.

We hosted a Negative Net Hiking event at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT. After visiting the park recently, we realized that the trails and common spaces were suffering from an abundance of litter.

Over four miles, our small group removed over four thirty-five-gallon trash bags from the local trails and common spaces.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support us and help Increase Nature's Share. You make our mission possible and could not have done it without you! With your help, we had a meaningful impact on the local environment and for those that use the space in the future.
