New research highlights post pandemic benefits of building social rented homes


Ahead of the Chancellor’s Spending Review later this month, a new report, Building post-pandemic prosperity, jointly commissioned by ARCH, the LGA and the NFA, set out how building 100,000 green social homes for rent each year as part of Britain’s post -pandemic recovery would benefit the economy to the tune of £24.5 billion. Read more

Home Office webinars: Right to Rent checks


The Home Office is delivering a number of communication webinars to highlight the changes in conducting Right to Rent checks in England for EU, EEA and Swiss citizens, following the end of the grace period on 1 July 2021.
 
The webinars are aimed at landlords, letting agents and relevant stakeholders. Read more

Last call for nominations to ARCH Tenant Group 2021/22


Every two years ARCH member councils can nominate a tenant to become a member of the ARCH Tenants Group and applications are now invited for membership of the Group.
 
The closing date for receipt of nominations is Friday 22 October 2021. Read more
