We are excited to take the next step in the call process. It's time to hear what you want in the man we call to be our next pastor. To gather your feedback, we have carefully crafted the following survey. Please click to share your responses. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/villagelutheranchurch
Paper copies are also available. The survey will remain open until Nov. 1.
A reminder that the call process normally takes 9 months to a year, or more! We are eager to put out a call in the spring and pray the first man we call accepts.
After we wrap up the survey, we will be working with the district to receive names which we will add to the list of names you nominate. If you know of a pastor you would like to nominate, please contact someone from the call committee before Nov 5.
The districts of each nomination will let us know if they are available for a call. We will then vett the names down to 5, based on the feedback we receive from the congregation. We will present you the names of those 5 and the voter's assembly will vote to call one.
In the meantime, take the survey, encourage other Village members to do so, nominate the names of men you have in mind, and most importantly please pray for us.
