The easiest way to take care of the flu vaccine requirement: on-campus clinic Oct. 25-26

An influenza vaccine is required this year. The quickest and easiest way to take care of this requirement is to attend our on-campus influenza vaccine clinic on Oct. 25-26 from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Sutton Center where the vaccine is free for students. Sign up here.

NOTE: Your flu documentation can be automatically uploaded to the Student Health Portal as long as you sign your name in the consent field. If you do not complete the consent field (or if you receive a vaccine off campus), you will have to upload the documentation yourself. Students who want to request a religious or medical exemption should see the Exemptions session of this message or instructions on how to proceed.

Spring course registration

The Spring 2022 Course Schedule and registration time tickets will be made available on Friday, Oct. 15. Visit the Registration Portal to view the Course Schedule and your time ticket. You will need to make an appointment to be advised by your adviser in order to receive your Registration PIN. Advising begins on Monday, Oct. 18. Please ensure you have no registration holds. If you do have any holds, please make sure to resolve them with the office that placed your hold so that your registration is not delayed.

The VP of Campus Life search committee will host a student forum Oct. 15

This forum, specifically for students, is to provide updates on the search and to hear from the campus community. It will be held Friday, Oct. 15 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the ZSR Auditorium. Due to the nature of the forum, a virtual option cannot be offered. Students can share thoughts with the members of the Search Committee at vpclsearch@wfu.edu.

Spring room change process, leaf blowing

Residence Life and Housing sent out a message about the spring room change process, which includes information about a new off-campus lottery for the spring semester, which opens Oct. 15. In addition, starting Oct. 25, leaf blowing will occur on weekdays on campus starting no earlier than 6 a.m. (or 9 a.m. in landscape areas directly next to residence halls). The team will do its best to avoid interruptions and will also be conscious of students’ concern for quiet time during exam periods.
