Win Prizes in Keiki Costume Contest
WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 31, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Hale‘iwa Store Lots
66-111 Kamehameha Highway
Hale‘iwa, HI 96712

WHAT:
Hale‘iwa Store Lots is providing the community with two opportunities to celebrate the spooky season safely. On Sunday, October 31, bring the kids for an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating. Participating merchants will have signs in front and will pass out candy at their locations between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., while supplies last. The center asks that everyone continue to social distance during this Halloween activity to stay safe. Bring your own trick-or-treat bags and enjoy a safe Halloween experience, in the heart of Hale‘iwa.

Leading up to and through Halloween night, keiki are also invited to enter Hale‘iwa Store Lots’ online costume contest. Starting October 17, you can take a picture of your keiki in their family-friendly Halloween costume at Haleʻiwa Store Lots and then post it on Instagram with the tag @haleiwastorelots. Last day to enter is October 31 at 11:59 p.m. HST.

Three winners will win a gift card to their favorite participating merchant. The 1st place winner will win a $100 gift card, second place winner will win a $75 gift card and the third place winner will win a $50 gift card to the participating merchant of their choice. Winners will be selected based on creativity and overall costume. Be sure to follow on Instagram @haleiwastorelots for complete details. Winners will be announced on Instagram on November 1. Entrants must be a Hawaiʻi resident to win.

Before or after trick-or-treating, enjoy dining and shopping at the center. Discover unique merchants, many locally owned or with strong ties to the community. Hale‘iwa Store Lots has a wide variety of retail, food, snacks and more, including everything from shave ice to fusion cuisine to burgers, boutiques, art galleries and more.

Haleʻiwa Store Lots is open daily, with enhanced safeguards and following county and state guidelines. Guests are required to wear face masks when entering merchant locations. Visitors to the center are asked to stay home if they are sick, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
