Jodie was born and raised in High River, Alberta, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Lethbridge.  She has spent her career primarily in business leadership in telecommunications and technology roles, and currently leads a consulting practice that focuses on organizational effectiveness and change management. Jodie also specializes in strategy facilitation.

The Suitor family was introduced to Foothills Country Hospice when Jodie’s father, David, received end of life care in January 2018. Jodie felt motivated to support our hospice from that experience, hoping to bring the same level of excellence to the board as her family experienced from our hospice team. She joined the Foothills Country Hospice Board of Directors in 2019, and was elected Chair at the September 2021 board meeting.
