Workplace Accommodations and You:  What to Know and How to Self-Advocate
Thursday, October 21st at 6:00 PM

Are you ready to ask for the job accommodations you need? In this program, Abby Volin and Mathew McCollough, from DC Office of Disability Rights, will clarify definitions important to the Americans with Disabilities Act, explain what you need to know about ADA-- particularly what “reasonable accommodation” means and who is eligible for it. Come ready with your own questions and concerns about asking for job accommodations, as there will be activities for building your self-advocacy skills. This event will have American Sign Language interpretation and Closed Captioning.
