NASH Engineered Fashion is an active streetwear brand that focuses on creative solutions for some of the biggest issues in the fashion industry. Created in 2020, NASH was formerly located in an incubator space inside the Make Ready Building. However, this one-of-a-kind studio and shop recently celebrated the grand opening of their new and larger location at 114 N. Walker Avenue in Midtown.

“Our favorite part of being in Midtown OKC is getting to interact with and meet new people. The support we have received from the OKC community has been immense, and we are so grateful!” said NASH created and co-owner, Tamra Gould.
After losing her job offer in NYC due to the pandemic, Tamra decided to move back to Oklahoma and start her own brand with her husband Juan and sister Tressa. 100% of NASH garments are designed, sewn, and screen printed in their Midtown studio and shop. NASH’s mission is to bring more transparency to the fashion industry by showing how garments are made up close and personal.
Think farm to table but make it fashion. Sustainability and inclusivity are the main issues that NASH focuses on. By reusing scrap fabric to create bucket hats, hang tags, and garments, they aim to create as little waste as possible.

Some of their garments also feature artwork from their younger brother Trafford, who has Down syndrome. Although some brands do create clothing for individuals with special needs, rarely are those individuals included in the design and creation process. NASH hopes to change this norm by showing just how capable and creative people with disabilities can be.
“To think that less than a year ago, we launched NASH from my bedroom, to now having our own retail space on Walker Avenue is extremely humbling and exciting,” said Gould. “We can’t wait to see what the future holds for us here at our new location.”

Through collaboration, NASH plans to make a positive impact on their local community, and someday the world.
