Dear Prayer Partners,                                                                                                              October 2021

These last few months have been full and rewarding. We are beyond thankful for the opportunity we had to go on a survey trip to Hungary for about six weeks. It has taken some time to put together a video update to express highlights of our trip for you all. We will also use this to express our burden to new churches we visit. Thank you for praying for our time there!  Be sure to visit our website to view our update video if you are reading this offline.

We have moved back closer to our home church and family in Wisconsin. We are thankful to have stayed at Shepherds Bethel in southern Indiana for around six months. That is a great ministry, and we were sad to leave. We are able to stay at The Golden Harp missions home in Milwaukee, which is provided by a faithful lady from our church who has a heart for missionaries. This was unavailable when we began deputation, but it will hopefully serve as a "permanent" base for us for the last year of our deputation before we trust to be on the field.
We did have a vehicle adventure recently. Our almost-brand new Michelin tire went flat during Chicago rush hour traffic. I ran over something on the highway. I think the front tire threw the object to the back and cut the wall of the tire. We were thankful we were going very slowly when we realized it was flat, and we were located right by a closed express lane (which provided a good barricade from traffic). We were able to put a spare on, find a tire shop with no line, and be back on the road with a new tire in one-and-a-half hours. Abigail calls our new tire the special tire and hopes we can get special tires for the others as well! Thank you for your prayers for safety.
God has been so good to us! We know we do not deserve anything from the Lord. We are very encouraged to see God’s hand in our journey of deputation and recently on our survey trip. I believe God has a great plan for Hungary, and we are thrilled to be asked to be a part of it. Jesus has more interest in missions than we as humans ever could. It is a privilege to be called to work together with God in something that is impossible without Him.

Thank you so much for your prayers, care, and support for our family and the ministry God has called us to!
