AAWE presents Empowered Women Series
Monday 18, October 2021 @ 18h, Open to the public
At age 58, Paula Madison was the peak of her career as an NBC Universal executive overseeing diversity and inclusion when she decided to walk away from it all. She pursued a life-long passion to go in search of her grandfather, a Chinese merchant who settled in Jamaica. Her personal journey culminated in a documentary film and memoir, Finding Samuel Lowe. SPRINT celebrates its 35th anniversary!
|
|
|
SPRINT France celebrated its 35th anniversary with a networking soirée on a rooftop terrace, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. After multiple lockdowns and social restrictions, this was an opportunity to network and socialise with old friends, as well as make some new ones. The event was attended by members, alumni, some association representatives, school members, and other interested parties. SPRINT intends to make their networking soirée an annual event.
"If you would like to know more about how SPRINT helps families and schools, that have children with emotional needs, special educational needs, or physical disabilities, or maybe you're interested in becoming a member, or school member, please check out our website at https://www.sprintfrance.org or get in contact via sprintfrance75@gmail.com."

Non-Profit Social Media Summit
2-3 November, 2021 19h-23h
free event for non-profits, (with paid upgrades)
Thanks to one of our CESC members who passed along the link to this event being held by a USA-based company. "Two-day virtual conference for nonprofit professionals looking to exchange ideas, experiences, and knowledge with a hyper focus on social media.
Nonprofits of all sizes use social media every day to grab attention, inspire curiosity, and ultimately raise money for their causes. However, many nonprofit social media campaigns fall flat, launch to crickets, and fail to get results. It’s not because we don’t do great work – we know that we do!
Many of us don’t get results on social media because we don’t know how to leverage the power and potential of the platforms to engage people in our cause, and most importantly – to get them to take action. We are left spinning our wheels, posting once in a while and hoping it works.
This limited-enrollment virtual training summit will help you to build an actionable nonprofit social media plan that effectively integrates these tools into your multichannel marketing and fundraising campaigns." Click here for more information.

Bloom Where You're Planted
Bloom Where You're Planted is an orientation seminar to help expats from around the world live and thrive in Paris or anywhere in France, and is designed to create opportunities for meaningful connections with others and provide valuable insights.
Due to challenges in building a team of volunteers, Bloom will not be held this fall as was previously scheduled. Thank you to Jodi Fondell from the American Church in Paris for keeping the CESC community informed.
