SAN JUAN COUNTY DEMOCRATS REPORT RAISING $16K IN BI-ANNUAL REPORT

The Democratic Party of San Juan County reported raising $16k in a bi-annual filing with the Secretary of State's office last week. The public report can be found here.

Our fundraising came from two main sources: our Golf Tournament in July and our monthly Club10 donors. We owe a great debt of gratitude to our golf tournament organizers, everyone who participated in that event, and all of our monthly grassroots sustainers.

We take great care to use our donors' money to support local candidates, lower the barriers to participation for Democrats of all economic backgrounds, and spread our message online and at the doorsteps our our voters. During the 2021 local election cycle, we debuted our first ever Donation Matching program for local candidates and we are proud to report that 6 candidates have received the maximum matching fund from DPSJC. DPSJC will launch a Facebook ad campaign to coincide with the expansion of early voting tomorrow (Oct 16).

In 2022, with your help, DPSJC will continue to turn donations into action by opening a field office and exploring the possibility of hiring part-time field staff that will add to our volunteers' efforts and those of the statewide coordinated campaign. We hope to expand our Donation Matching program to offer even more resources to talented local candidates.

You make it possible. Thank you <3

GOVERNOR MICHELLE LUJAN GRISHAM REPORTS RAISING $2.5 MILLION
LOS ALAMOS DAILY POST

ALBUQUERQUE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced today her campaign raised more than $2.5 million from thousands of donors for her reelection effort.

Gov. Lujan Grisham announces this strong fundraising number on the heels of statewide and national endorsements, putting her squarely on the path for victory in November 2022.

Gov. Grisham’s fundraising haul puts her in one of the strongest positions a New Mexico gubernatorial candidate has ever been in. With $2.1 million cash on hand, Gov. Grisham is leading a record-breaking effort to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

“New Mexicans are coalescing behind Gov. Lujan Grisham because of her track record delivering on the issues that matter most to New Mexicans and their families,” said New Mexicans for Michelle Campaign Manager Hilary Borris. “Across the state, New Mexicans recognize that Gov. Lujan Grisham is the best choice to lead New Mexico forward.”
