Is Email Marketing Dead? What Apple's New Privacy Settings Mean for Your Analytics

This summer, Apple announced it is doubling down on privacy in its 2021 iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac updates. This change is a big deal for anyone who uses email marketing. Why? Well, after the updates, people with Apple Mail will have a LOT more power. They’ll be able to kill your ability to track their open rates and IP addresses with just a few clicks.

There’s a huge movement around privacy right now. Apple’s new Mail Privacy Protection feature is just the beginning. Our guess is that it won’t be long before other email platforms like Outlook and maybe even Google follow suit, making email marketing harder...

Annual Business Meeting and Election of Board Members: Attention all Members! It’s time for our annual business meeting and the election of board members including, President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, there are also seats available on the board for Members at Large to help with other tasks the board is tackling. If you are interested in throwing your name in the hat or nominating another individual for a position please email your nomination to stephen@shws.law. The Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 at 7:00pm for elections of new officers and other important Bar Associations Matters, everyone is invited to attend to nominate and/or cast a vote. Zoom link and registration for the meeting will be sent to member as we get closer to our meeting date.

All Current Bar Associations Memberships are extended to September 2022: In light of the on going pandemic The Pauli Murray LGBTQ+ Bar Association Board has voted to extend all memberships up and until September 2022 and make all 2021 dues optional as a donation to the Bar.
