JOIN US NEXT WEEK!

Friday, October 22 | 9am-11am | Zoom
Final UEDA Emerging Topic Series Session of 2021

Join us as we partner with the Community Development Alliance (CDA) and the City of Milwaukee Department of City Development for a virtual session focused on the newly released Collective Affordable Housing Strategic Plan.

The purpose of the Plan is to act as a road map for advancing racial equity by providing a quality affordable home for every Milwaukeean and focuses on two priority housing needs: Black & Latino Homeownership, and Rental Homes for families making $7.25 - $15 per hour. Beyond the two priority housing needs, the CDA also acknowledges that other resources and strategies will be required to achieve the goal of advancing racial equity by providing an affordable home for every Milwaukeean, especially for the most vulnerable.

Attendees will hear an overview of the Plan from those that worked most closely on its preparation and have a chance to discuss and ask questions. We will also ask participants to think about and share how their organization can help implement aspects outlined in the Plan's priority Strategy Areas. We encourage all attendees to read the plan prior to joining us!

Advanced registration is required. Contact jessica@uedawi.org if you need assistance.
Sign language interpreting services will be provided at this session.
