Sister Jean Joins National #DoublePell Advocacy Campaign
This week, the national #DoublePell campaign gained a new advocate in Sister Jean! In this new video (click on image above to view on YouTube), Loyola University Chicago's men's basketball team chaplain urges Congress to double the Pell grant maximum award. To learn more about #DoublePell (and find out how YOU can contact your members of Congress), visit doublepell.org.

Fordham University's president, Rev. Joseph McShane, S.J., has also been an outspoken advocate, most recently in a joint op-ed for the Gotham Gazette with three fellow presidents of New York institutions. Click here to learn more about Fordham's community engagement on Pell grants.

Upcoming Virtual & In-Person Events Across the Jesuit Network
On Thursday, October 28, hear Mike Barkley (#JesuitEducated graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland and former CEO of KIND Snacks) discuss how he has learned and applied the teachings of St. Ignatius to navigate the peaks and valleys of life—including finding grace in the “cannonball moments” that can help change one’s perspective, reset priorities, and lead to a higher purpose.
