Hi <<First Name>>
In this week's message we look at Jesus' words about how hard it is to enter the Kingdom of God.
"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:20
The question really is this... is it "hard" to enter the kingdom, or is it "impossible" in our own ability?
"And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 19:24-26
It is important for us to settle this question, because thinking that we can earn or deserve God's salvation or blessings can cause us to be "alienated from Christ, and to "fall from grace". (Gal 5:2-4)
This is a massive issue that we need to understand and learn to live out.
We are not saying that a Christian lives in sin; simply that a Christian cannot earn or deserve any blessings from God.
Watch the videos, and let us know what you think.
We love you and are praying for you this week.
Blessings in the Father's family,
