EDS Fall Festival - 11.13.21 🍂

Saturday, November 13 • 10 A.M. - 2 P.M.

Fall Festival is right around the corner! Don’t forget to order your student armbands for access to all the fun. Armbands may be purchased online and are $20/each until 11.10.21. Armbands purchased online will be sent home with the youngest child in your family the week before Fall Festival. They can also be purchased at the sign-in table on the day of the festival for $25 each. Adults and children 2 and under do not need an armband!

All children ages 3 and up participating in Fall Festival activities, including Middle School volunteers, MUST have an armband which gives them unlimited access to rides/games along with the Haunted House, Photo Booth, and Rock Wall!

If you would like for a friend or coworker to receive a VIP invitation to Fall Festival please email Karen Lilly at klilly@edsaugusta.com. We will send an invitation that includes an armband for prospective students allowing unlimited activities!

T-shirt orders are complete. However, if you forgot to order a shirt, there will be a limited number available at the festival. With questions regarding t-shirts please contact Fran Hickman or Jana Jordan.

Concessions will be available for purchase so please bring cash.

Volunteers

Come have fun with us and lend a hand! We have volunteer opportunities for both Middle School students and parents to help at the Fall Festival. We especially need help with set up and clean up. We also have multiple options for Middle School students to work toward their Inside EDS Service Hour requirement. We can't do it without you! Sign up below.

Sweet Shoppe

It's always sweet to bring yummy items to benefit the fantastic Fall Festival! Whether cake or brownies, cookies or pie, we need your donations! Bake sale donations should be dropped off to the front office no later than the afternoon carpool on Friday, 11.12.21. Please package and label all items. the Fall Festival Bake Sale.

We will be collecting candy donations for CANDY NECKLACES so don't trash your leftover candy once Halloween is over!

Requested donations are: Smarties, Nerds, Skittles, Sweet Tarts, Starburst, Laffy Taffy, Tootsie Rolls, DumDum Lollipops, Jolly Ranchers, and Airheads. Donations may be dropped off in the front office. No chocolate donations, please.

Faculty Food Fun

Be sure to stop by the ballot table at the Festival to vote on which faculty member you think will be our 2021 Food Fun Champion and receive the coveted trophy. This year at 12 P.M., contestants will see who can eat a hamburger and blow a bubble of bubble gum the fastest!

Black & White Photography

Don’t miss the black and white photography table at the Fall Festival. EDS mom, and photographer, Lee Ann McElderry is capturing the smiles of all the children and we will have 5x7 prints available to purchase at the Fall Festival at a discount. Other sizes and merchandise will be available to order online after the event. Look for the online order link in Panther Post following Fall Festival.

Concessions

The concessions team is asking for donations of boxes of snack size chips and condiments (ketchup, mustard). Drop your donations off in the front office as soon as possible.

Tara Scheyer and the Mud Puppy Band - 11:00 A.M.

Join us for an interactive concert for children of all ages by Tara Scheyer and the Mud Puppy Band, starting at 11:00 A.M. on the Trustee Commons!

Dunk Tank

Don't miss out on this fun attraction! The dunk tank will have some special SURPRISE guests ready to take a swim from 12:30-1:30. If you would like to try your hand in seeing a faculty member take the plunge, it will be $5 for 5 balls... it's time start practicing your aim!!

Photo Booth

Photo booth pictures are included with your armband purchase and will be available from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Haunted School

Halloween may be over, but if you still need some spookiness, our haunted school will be sure to do the trick! Our moms in charge of this attraction would love any donations that you have to make it even spookier for years to come.
