These baked goods are coming to get you!

Our Baker Amanda K. has been 'sprinkling' the Halloween and Autumn cheer around here. Stop by and grab a goulishly good goodie from our bakery case.

Read more about Amanda below:
'I was born and raised in the greater Portland metro area, I grew up making things. I love working with my hands and creating. I started out watching my Grama and Mom in the kitchen, later begging Grama for copies of her recipes so I could try my hand at a few of them later. In high school I took culinary arts classes. It was then that I knew that cooking was the obvious choice for what I wanted to do after graduation. In 2009 I went to Oregon Culinary institute to get my certificate in culinary arts and went on to work at several restaurants in Portland over the years including but not limited to: H50 (where I met my husband), The Bent Brick, Dead shot, and Xport just to name a few. I would often fall into the roll of developing dessert menus.

In 2019 my husband and I were feeling done with city life and moved out to Tillamook after many painstaking months of house hunting and closing on our home loan. It was then that I accepted a saute position at The Meridian in Pacific City. While there I was promoted to Pastry Chef. Recently seeking a workplace closer to home and after a very compelling argument from my husband, Patrick of whom is the assistant Kitchen manager at The Bistro, I finally joined The Garibaldi Portside Bistro family. I've always enjoyed experimenting with traditional recipes and giving them a local, seasonal twist. I’m especially passionate about making ice creams and hope to expand that into our future pastry program. I look forward to baking for Y'all!'
