Dear supporter,
What was your dream growing up? Did you want to be a teacher, a rock star or perhaps an astronaut?

Equestrian Andrew Hoy didn't let age get in the way of achieving his dreams. Hoy became Australia's oldest Olympics medallist at 62 (he won two at the recent Tokyo Olympics). Interestingly, when asked whether age or experience was more important, he said, "Age."

Here at Image Mission, we too believe you're never too old to make dreams come true.

In this issue, we highlight two examples closer to home - our Founder Li Kin, who started the charity later in life because of her dream to transform lives and our client Asylvia who having been helped, has gone on to start a community project to help others.

May you be inspired to chase your dreams too.

HIGHLIGHTS
Singapore: 40-over-40
"Do not care about age, do not care whether a job promotion is meant for a man or woman, do not care if you are rejected, and do not care about the reason. Just don't give up on your dreams!" - Li Kin

Our founder Li Kin was recently named to the inaugural Singapore: 40-over-40 list celebrating women in Singapore who push boundaries to forge new paths.

Read on to discover how we're continuing to help women to achieve their dreams of economic independence.

Past Events
Virtual Power Walk
Thanks to generous contributions from our supporters and donors, we raised more than S$13,000 for our first Virtual Power Walk for Dress for Success® Singapore. Participants had a good time exploring Singapore's beautiful parks while raising funds for programmes for women in need of our help.
Workshops

Practical Money Skills Workshop with EY Singapore
When deciding to spend on something, ask yourself if it is a 'need' or 'want'. This was just one of the many tips that our corporate partner EY Singapore taught our clients in a workshop to help them better manage their finances.
Mindfulness with Greater Self Awareness Workshop
Certified clinical trauma specialist and evidence-based mindfulness trainer Celina Jones taught our clients how to deal with traumatic experiences using these easy-to-remember ABCD steps.
UPCOMING
WOMEN WHO LEAD 11 NOV
We're thrilled for our client Asylvia who is a winner of the Dress for Success® Community Action Project (CAP) 2021!

Empowered women are not just interested in their own success, but in strengthening their families and shaping their communities. The CAP is a social change initiative created and executed by these women to improve their community and is a way for them to help others, just as they have been helped.

Asylvia will share her journey at the Dress for Success® Women Who Lead event on Thursday 11 November at 9am SGT. Register below to join us as we celebrate her success!
