This Sunday
Caring Concerns - starts this Saturday
For Your Prayers
Giving Sunday (Last Week)
Sunday 10th October, 8am and 10am
Sunday is the second Sunday of the month, so we will have traditional Order One Holy Communion at 8am and 10am. As usual, the 8am service will be spoken only and the 10am service will include music and the choir. 8am will be in person only but 10am will be in person and by Zoom.

Here is the order of service. You will only need to print/access this if you are joining by Zoom at 10am; the usual service booklet will be supplied in church. This is the same order of service as on previous second Sundays, so you may already have printed it. Here also are the hymns and readings - again, only needed if you are joining by Zoom.

Emma Parren will be preaching at both services. Emma is studying preaching as part of the final year of her Licensed Lay Minister training. Your support will be much appreciated.

If you'd like to explore this Sunday's readings and ideas with all ages in your family here is this week's Activity Sheet.

As safe as possible ...

Please note that, although the wearing of face masks in church is no longer compulsory, we ask you to continue to wear one if at all possible.

Zoom Details for 10am

The Zoom link will be the usual one for Sunday services: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86563973122?pwd=SWtUY1pqNXJJdWFMSCtXc2hCTWhUdz09

And to follow ...

November 14th, 10am, Remembrance Sunday.
Caring Concerns - starts on Saturday
Caring Concerns, an introduction to Pastoral Care, starts on Saturday morning (9th October) at 9.30am in the Brassey Centre. For this first session we will be looking at some parts of the Bible that inform our pastoral care. How do our faith and beliefs help us provide a distinctly Christian ministry?

We are very lucky to have Revd Liz Chapman joining us, with her varied experience in pastoral care.

All are welcome. It's not too late to join in if you would like to. And there's no obligation or expectation that you will join the Pastoral Team. Just come and explore.
In your prayers

This week please remember little Albie and Ronnie who will be christened on Saturday, the family of Philip Bryant, whose Memorial Service will be on Sunday afternoon, and John and all the family of Diane Atkinson, whose funeral will be on 14th October at 11am.
Giving Sunday (Last Week)
If you weren't able to be at church last Sunday, but would like the information given out at the service, it's all here, and a video recording of the service is here.
