Hi, everyone! I hope the transition into autumn hasn’t been too drastic for you.
Wow, I can’t believe it’s already October! How did that happen?
In any case, today’s newsletter will provide updates about events you may have missed since the previous notice, and some information to look forward to.

I just wanted to provide an update since I haven’t posted here in a while. So, let’s start where we last left off. On July 21st, Jade Langton visited the I Love Romance Blog with an article, ‘Ten Signs You Are Ready for Marriage’. Some great advice here! A week later, I discovered a new book review for Phenomenal Touch on Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews blog. I was also named in the TOP 20 Authors for 2021 on her site.
Then, I took a break from late July to mid-August. By August 27th, the new site for the Writing in the Modern Age blog had launched. We now have an all-new domain, complete with a different host and a new mailing list service. So, please take a moment and sign-up! ♥
On the following day, another article of mine, this time for Writing in the Modern Age, went live. Check out ‘Seven Ways to Recover Your Writing Motivation’ right here. On September 20th, author Francis H. Powell came to the same blog to talk about a Covid-themed charity anthology project he put together, and all about his new release. Discover the fascinating book, Together Behind Four Walls, featured on this blog post. I love that all proceeds are headed to help a great cause!
The next day brought a blog tour feature for Allen Wolf’s romantic comedy with a touch of drama, The Sound of Violet, highlighted on ILRB. There’s also a movie coming out soon! 😉 A week later, Kate Carley’s small town contemporary romance, Just for A Moment, had a spotlight in a blog tour on the same blog. Great cover, and the series looks awesome!
On October 1st, Ivy Nelson’s steamy romantic suspense novel (with some BDSM elements), Forever, was showcased in a blog tour visit on Writing in the Modern Age. Check out the fantastic teasers inside the post!

Let’s shift over to some info about my books…
If you can, please be patient with me about the re-release of Blood Instincts, a futuristic paranormal romance/urban fantasy and the sequel to Second Nature. I got waylaid with other stuff happening at home lately, and I haven’t been able to get the formatting done so I can upload the manuscript (after I got the rights back from my former publisher). But I do promise that it will be out soon enough. One of these days, I’ll also be able to focus on writing the third book in the trilogy.
In other news, I’m still working on some final details with the First Target romantic mystery collection. So, with any luck, I can finish up and start edits shortly.
Plus, I just received the edits from my publisher for Upon Your Honor, the second book in the Heiresses in Love Series. That should come out soon as well!
Additionally, I've been working on some book covers for the follow-up stories in the Eternal Hearts Series. Let me know what you think...
The cover for book three isn't set in stone, and I don't know yet if I'll keep the background or the couple at this time. But both of those follow-up tales will be set just after the events in Second Chance Heart.
And don’t forget about my supernatural romance starter series collection, Phenomenal Touch, which released on the market in February. This is a fun edition for collectors, plus it’s apropos for the Halloween season.

There are so many here to choose from! For this round, I think I’ll pick ‘Cook Something Bold Day’ on November 8th. Baking or cooking can be a cathartic activity. Also, it’s harvest time, so why not combine both elements? Try using pumpkin as an ingredient in an entirely new recipe. Let’s overlook what happened last year with all the mess from Covid, and try to move on. Get back to enjoying what you love. Create something new with your hands. Fill your home with the warmth and aromas of the holidays. Be bold! 😉
