Help us out by purchasing our organic-fed and pasture-raised chicken and pork at our extended in-person hours this Friday, 10/15 from 2 pm - 5 pm.

Bulk chicken special- When you purchase 10+ whole chickens at once you get the discounted price of $5.35/lb (reg. $5.75/lb)
Chicken leg quarter special- $6.75/lb (reg $7.50/lb)
Chicken back special- Oversized chicken back packs (approximately 6-8 backs per pack, 6-9 lbs) $14 (reg. $20)

Winter Meats Share $495 + tax

Want to expand your home menu during the winter and try some new dishes? Our meat share provides you with a variety of types of meats and cuts, all raised right here in Blacksburg. The share includes 4 monthly pick-ups (November, December, January, February). Each monthly pick up will contain roughly 15-18 pounds of meat and be packaged in USDA vacuum-sealed packs that should make it easy to fit in your home freezer.

Our all our animals are raised outdoors on pasture here at Glade Road Growing (pork and poultry) and Hoof Hearted Farm (beef). Our meats do not contain any antibiotics or hormones. Pork and poultry are supplemented with USDA certified organic non-GMO feed. Beef is comletely grass-fed, grass-finished. Recipes and cooking tips included with each pick up.

Winter Veggie Share $210 + tax

2021 winter veggie share runs weekly on Tuesdays, Nov 9- Jan 25, 2022. New layout this year!

This season our basic winter share will be very similar to our main season share where we select a mix of 5-6 types of storage crops and fresh greens each week. These prepacked bins will be available every week of the share as a quick-grab option.

Additionally, we are trying out a new market-style option for the winter share on certain weeks. For this option, we will set-up on display 6-9 different products and you can pick out 5 (or a posted quantity) from the selection. We are hoping this option gives you more choice in what you receive in your weekly share.  If you do not feel like making decisions on any given week, you can always grab one of the pre-packed winter share bins.
