Hit the Bricks 2021 sets records

Hit the Bricks, which raises money for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund, set new records for participants, the number of teams and total money raised. Runners and walkers circled Hearn Plaza for 22,789 laps, or just under 5,700 miles. “It is truly an honor to experience one of Wake Forest’s finest traditions. Your gifts — the money you have raised, your support of those facing cancer and your commitment to seeing this through to a cure — are a remarkable testament to the spirit of Pro Humanitate that is alive on this campus,” said President Susan R. Wente.

View photos of the event and learn more about the 1,693 runners on 146 teams who raised more than $200,000 for cancer research.

Flu vaccine required — clinic on campus Oct. 25-26

Wake Forest again will require all students, faculty and staff to receive the influenza vaccine (or request a religious or medical exemption) this year. More details for students will be shared soon. There will be an on-campus influenza vaccine clinic on Oct. 25-26 from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. which is free for students. Sign up here.

NOTE: Your flu documentation can be automatically uploaded to the Student Health Portal as long as you sign your name in the consent field. If you do not complete the consent field, you will have to upload it yourself.
