2021 FACULTY SHOWCASE
Don't forget - proposals are now open for 30-minute sessions (including Q&A) for the Seventh Annual Faculty Showcase sponsored and organized by Learning Innovation and Faculty Engagement and UM's Platform for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (PETAL)! Proposals typically showcase effective or otherwise meaningful teaching strategies and success stories, including plans currently underway or evolving, and we welcome proposals about teaching in various modalities, strategies for engaging students, promoting diversity and equity, and innovative uses of learning technologies.
Proposals are due on Friday, October 8. Notifications and next steps will be sent by Friday, October 15.
The Faculty Showcase is the University of Miami’s premiere teaching and learning event – an annual gathering where faculty share, network, and discover the ways their colleagues are enriching student experiences through innovative pedagogies and learning technologies. Led by faculty for faculty, this afternoon conference aims to support faculty development and enhance student learning.
This year's event will take place in Zoom on Thursday, November 4 from 3pm to 6pm.
