  • Children’s Sunday School at 9:30am: More info here

  • Adult Sunday Studies at 9:30am:
    • The Bible Project: A Journey Through the Bible -- Book by Book | Have you ever tried to read the Bible and get lost in the weeds? Try to read from cover to cover and don’t make it past Exodus? Ever wonder what the main points of each book are about? Join us Sunday Mornings as we discuss a different book of the Bible each week in order. In order to become biblically literate and to fall more in love with God and His Word, we have to understand the bigger picture of God’s redemption. We’ll be using the popular and easily digested “Bible Project” videos each week to kick off our discussions. The Psalmist exclaims, “I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil” (Ps. 119:162). Let’s mine the treasures together! 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Click here for the course webpage.
    • Just Prayer | Not “just” prayer, or prayer about justice, but prayer alone! Inspired by our church-wide retreat, we want to be a church that depends on God and works for results that only God can provide, as opposed to ones that we can manufacture. So let’s do this together - no program, no agenda, just a commitment to pray kingdom prayers together according to the command of Christ, for the glory of Christ, and the building up of His Church!
  • Women’s Discipleship Group: In Romans, Paul expresses a longing to be together “that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. “ Consider joining us on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (7-8:30 pm) as we encourage, support and challenge one another in a small group setting.  We are using the book A Place to Belong by Megan Hill.  Please join us via Zoom (meeting #812 2180 7643) as we explore the beauty of the church and how we can delight in the “loveliness of Christ’s gathered people.” Contact Lisa or Diane.
  • Men’s Discipleship Group: Every 1st and 3rd Thursday evening at 6:30pm we gather for a time of fellowship and discussion of an article. Emails are sent out every Monday with info on time, location, and a link to the article. If you are interested in joining (and are not on the men’s email list), contact Jerry.
  • Young Moms & Dads Discipleship Groups: If you have a child age 12 or under and are desiring to grow in your faith contact  Jefferson Bennett.
  • Young at Heart 60 Somethings Group: This group meets at 10:30am on the second and fourth Tuesdays in the Fellowship Hall. We are using the book “Trusting God.” If you are interested contact Alan or Stacy.

Tuesday Night Pastoral Counseling Available 7pm-9pm: Would you like to speak one-on-one with a CPC pastor? We desire to connect the truths of scripture to the realities of life. Whether you are going through suffering or just need wisdom, the pastoral staff is dedicated to being available to meet. We recognize that our work hours are not always convenient for others. If you are interested in scheduling a pastoral consultation, the pastoral staff is available by appointment Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. (or another time as determined by appointment).  Interested persons may sign-up confidentially here.

Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal at 7pm: Join us for a light meal before Compline in the Fellowship Hall.

Wednesday Night Compline at 8pm (In-Person and Livestream): Beginning centuries ago, monastic communities gathered in the evening to “complete” the day by observing a worship service that weaves together songs, prayers, Scriptural reflections, and Communion. In that spirit, we hope to enter God’s presence with others from around our city to experience Compline. Each night we will celebrate the central Christian feast of the Lord’s Table. All are welcome to join us in the middle of the week as we take refuge in the riches of God’s grace in Christ. Compline meets Wednesday at 8:00pm during the academic year (in-person or online from 9/22/21 - 12/8/21 (except Thanksgiving week on 11/24/21) and 1/19/22 - 4/6/22.

Thursday Live Podcast Recording at 2pm: Recorded at New Haven’s The Owl Shop, the Smokin’ Theologians Podcast is a long form conversation hosted by curious layman, Alex Gonzalez, and learned Theologian, Rev.
