CHOIR CONCERT
Our Choir students performed their first concert of the year on Wednesday, October 6th. And a special shout out to Mr. Loeffler for making this event happen for our students!

Quarter 1 House Champion: Arbitrium
We held our second 'House Day' of the year on Wednedsday, October 6th. We handed out several awards and students had the chance to play a few games to earn points for their House. At the end of the day, Arbitrium edged Animo to win the Quarter 1 competition.
We will continue to award points throughout the year on our way to naming the House Cup Champion at the end of the school year.

The week prior to break our Kindness Club took the time to write messages of support for our students out in Panther Park. Thank you to the members of our Kindness Club: Roselyn Gonzalez, Emma Valdez, Kortlan Bynum, Natalie Velasquez, Averie Verquer, Victoria Medina Luna, Emma Kappel, and Olivia Hines!

Symptomatic Students
In order to keep other students and staff members safe and to limit the potential implementation of other preventative measures including school-wide symptom/temperature checks, mask mandates, etc. please remember your student is REQUIRED to stay home if he/she is showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
Your student must be symptom free for a minimum of 24 hours before he or she can return to school and in some cases this requirement may be longer than 24 hours. If you have any questions please contact the office.

Change in Quarantining Protocol
As a reminder, effective September 29th the DCSD changed its quarantining procedures. In the event a student is a close contact at school, the student's parent/guardian will be contacted and provided with the choice of whether or not to quarantine their student for 10 days. Click here to read the updated DCSD COVID Plan letter emailed to parents.
Please note that a mandatory quarantine is still required if someone in a student's household tests positive for COVID-19.

COVID-19 Vaccination Information
The Delta County School District strongly encourages all students and staff members to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The vaccine is currently available for free to all individuals 12 and older.
