Fall  Wildflower  Trek at  Spring  Canyon!

Sunday, October 17th at 9:30 am EST
Church Pond Rd, Quincy, FL

Come see the fall wildflowers and observe the progress being made in the restoration of the longleaf pine and wiregrass savannas as we hike a 2 & 1/2 mile loop through the uplands & ravines. The hike will include some elevation and is on an unpaved path. Bring a bagged lunch or snack, and we will finish our hike looking out over the pond which will be restored back to a natural creek this winter.

As with any field trip, please bring adequate water and snacks or a bagged lunch if you like. Consider long pants and shoes that are comfortable for hiking, a hat, walking stick, sunscreen, etc.
