At Hawaii Gas, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our customers, community and employees is a top priority. We invest countless hours in employee training and education so that we can safely deliver the service and quality product that our customers have come to expect.
That is also why we are proud to recognize the efforts of Mel Andrade of our Maui team who, along with members of our Compliance team, designed a Driver Improvement Program training series that was piloted in our Hilo location and will soon be rolled out statewide to our other locations. The full-day training draws upon Mel’s many years of personal and professional experience and teaches fellow teammates practical techniques that they can use in their own work. Thank you, Mel, for taking the initiative and for always keeping the safety of our employees and customers in mind!
