The Pyramid Post
Welcome to Issue 3 of The Pyramid Post
We've had a very busy September - with Scottish Opera's Pop Up performances, our Bollywood Film & Dance Night and our brilliant Festival Weekend! It was lovely to be able to welcome people safely back into The Pyramid to enjoy all these events.

We're also very pleased that our major building redevelopment works have begun. This first phase of works will see improved access throughout the building and many of our community spaces upgraded. The building will never fully close throughout the redevelopment - however, there may be some disruption to our ability to host events or groups in our spaces while the works are being carried out. Please bear with us!
The Pyramid at Anderston: AGM 2021 (Zoom)
We will be holding our AGM (via Zoom) on Tuesday 19 October at 7pm, and all Pyramid members are warmly invited to attend.

For those who do not have access to Zoom there will be an opportunity to take part in the AGM discussion in person. Please let us know if you would like to attend in person - you can do this by phone: 0141 226 3277 or by post: The Pyramid at Anderston, 759 Argyle St, Glasgow G3 8DS (response to arrive no later than Friday 15 October).

Please email info@thepyramid.scot to register your attendance and a meeting link will be sent out nearer the time.

Community Fun! Festival Weekend
We held a FANTASTIC festival over the September Weekend -welcoming over 800 people to The Pyramid for bags of fun and good times; with loads of free and fun activities for all ages including - Aardman lead modelmaker Jim Parkyn's Amazing Scene Machine, children's author Kjartan Poskitt (Murderous Maths, The Runaway Pea), top Scottish magician Billy Reid Magic, Woodcraft Folk, Glasgow Zine Library, Glasgow Science Centre, Halo Arts circus skills and silent disco, arts & crafts, face painting with Face Candy Glasgow and friends, balloon modelling, fairground rides and more...

One boy commented that the event should have been called the 'Festival of Happiness'. It was wonderful to see our community coming together and having so much fun - if you came along, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
