Spiritwear Order Pickup/Friday Sales
Online store orders can be picked up TODAY outside the band room from 6:30- 7:15pm or before the football game on Friday. Additional items will be available for purchase before the game. Last chance to get some Lassiter Band gear before Cobb Exhibition and Competition!
The COW Returns - Bring Water Jug!
We received the green light to bring the COW back to rehearsals! Please have your student bring their water jug to Saturday's Mini Camp and to all remaining rehearsals!
Football Game/Cobb Exhibition Details
Home Game 10/8
- Call Time - 5:30pm. Arrive dressed in Full Uniform/Eat before arrival.
- We will QUICKLY take section pictures beginning at 5:30pm.
- Snacks, water & soda provided at halftime.

Cobb Exhibition (10/11) @ McEachern High School
- Call Time - Immediately after school. Bring ALL Uniform Pieces to School!
- Students will change into uniform and buses will leave no later than 5pm.
- Dinner - provided by Zaxbys upon arrival @ McEachern.
- Performance Time - approximately 8:30pm
Our students need parent support! This is always a wonderful evening with other local band families. Let's fill the stands with Lassiter parents/friends and show our support for all their hard work!
Admission: Cash at the Event: $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students

Water/Soda Needs - Please Help!
- Water (8 oz bottles are preferred, but no larger than 16oz)
- Gatorade - 51 oz powder cans
- 12 packs - Dr. Pepper, Fanta, Lemonade
Drop Off - practice time this week in the band room hallways near the ice machine or with a chaperone. Thank you for your help!
Important - Don't Remove Uniform Tags
Many students removed the fabric name tags pinned to their uniform pieces. The uniform committee had to retag all of them before the pieces were washed. When your student receives their uniform back, please instruct them NOT to remove any name tag pinned to any of the uniform pieces. Thank you!
Payment Dates Summary
All Marching Band fees should be paid.
- Band Fees can be paid here
- December 1st - Concert Band Fee Due ($150) - if your student is enrolled in a band class during the school day, he/she is in concert band. This applies to all marching students.
- Disney Payment Due Dates
- Oct 1st, Nov 1st, Dec 1st, Jan 1st, Feb 1st, March 1st (balance must be paid in full by this date).
Trunk or Treat - Oct. 28th 7pm
Trunk of Treat will be held on STEP Field. We will be inviting middle school students from Simpson and Mabry. Lassiter Band students AND Parents are encouraged to bring their car, with trunk decorated and plenty of candy to hand out! A sign up form will be sent soon as well as a flyer to post on social media.
Uniform Hemming Guidelines/Lengths
Many students still don't have the correct pant length. Please see a uniform committee member if there are questions. Please read the guidelines. It's important to have a uniform look throughout the band.

Synchronizing the Band Calendar:
Google Calendar Sync and Android Phones
- On your computer, open Google Calendar. (Calendar.Google.com)
- On the left, next to "Other calendars," click Add From URL.
- Enter the calendar's address in the field provided:

- Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under "Other calendars."
Note: It may take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.
IPhones:
- Go into the Settings app
- Touch "Accounts & Passwords"
- On the Accounts & Passwords screen, touch "Add Account"
- On the Add Account screen, touch "Other"
- Under Calendars, touch "Add Subscribed Calendar"
- For the Server value, enter the URL for the teacher calendar:

- Touch "Next" in the upper right corner.
- It will verify the server then show a subscription page. Change the description if you like.
