Community Breakfast Gathering this Sunday

We love it when people bring their big questions. Recently, the topics of heaven, angels, saints and more have been bubbling. So let’s face them head on! Over the next few weeks we’ll be looking at what the Bible REALLY says… separating pop culture and folklore from the core teachings of our faith. We’ll be asking how these concepts link with a 21st century scientific world view. And there will be space to share our own experiences… and ask more questions!

We know life is busy and complicated. We don’t expect everyone to come to everything. However, having a good idea of numbers helps us plan well for Covid safety, and ensure we have enough resources to go round. If you can give us an idea of your availability, we’d really appreciate it!

Who are we?

Those forming Pathfinder Church come from all traditions and from none: together we are pilgrims on a journey, asking questions and exploring the connections we find between everyday life and our spirituality and faith. At the heart of this new church community in Northstowe is a recognition that we are seeking to follow The Pathfinder, Jesus Christ.

We're trying to keep things green and allow those at home to get a taste for what happens in the field. So all the song words and resources are on the new Autumn Term Padlet. - now in 2 dimentions!

Other Sundays in Pathfinder Primary School Field (or Hall if wet) praying, exploring, and sharing with music, reflection, worship, and interaction with those of all ages and backgrounds

Cave Refectory Road Discussions (daytime and evening)

or our Prayer Adventure

using the lectio 365 App, offering a morning and evening reflection daily

or our once-a-month special events

Breakfast Gatherings: 1st Sunday of the Month, 10.30am Pathfinder Primary. Bring the whole family to share in breakfast, activities, and conversation, with an optional communion in a side chapel

We're not following a 'blue print' for how to "start a church". We're exploring together -- listening to and working with people as they move into Northstowe, as well as listening to and responding to the wisdom of the Christian tradition.
