Magdalene Odundo in Cambridge

The Fitzwilliam Museum, 5 October 2021 - 24 July 2022

Magdalene Odundo DBE is one of the greatest ceramic artists working today. Fifty years ago, she moved from Kenya to Cambridge and immersed in the city. Odundo visited The Fitzwilliam Museum and the MAA, where she was captivated by the versatility of clay and hugely influenced by the variety of ceramics from around the world.

Don’t miss a new display at The Fitzwilliam Museum, bringing together the objects that inspired Odundo’s work alongside her own, including 17 loans from MAA.
