Join Regis University, The Denver North Star and our Registered Neighborhood Organizations for a voter fair. Meet the five Denver Public School at-large candidates, learn about three important ballot measures and update your voter registration for the Nov. 2 election. [The ballot initiatives are 2E (the National Western bond), 2F (related to group living conditions) and 303 (changes to the camping ban.] Note: This event is outside. Regis requires all visitors to wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccine status.  


Winterize the Regis Community Garden Workday

Help put the community garden to bed. We will replant herbs into our community plot; shape a clear path from the Lowell entrance to enhance safety; and insert weed barrier tiles around the compost area. Be sure to ask for some produce or seeds in gratitude for your time and service. The entrance is located at 5240 Lowell Blvd. Learn about the garden here.  
 

Faculty Recital: Professor Loretta Notareschi, composer

The Department of Fine and Performing Arts’ Music Program is pleased to present a recital featuring the compositions of Music Program Professor Loretta Notareschi, Ph.D. Guest artists include The Playground Ensemble and pianist Steven Beck performing works both intimate and grand. The concert will feature the world premieres of Loretta Notareschi’s Gnomic Concerto for piano and chamber ensemble alongside Regis alumnus Michael Frank’s Pulsations for large ensemble, as well as the Colorado premiere of Notareschi’s Ten Shape Preludes for piano. 

This free concert, which originally was slated for spring 2020 and is sponsored by Regis’ University Research and Scholarship Council, is free and open to the public. Reservations are required. Please register to attend here.

Come Run Wild with Us  
Virtual 1-mile, 5K and 10K races 
Begins Oct. 15 

Regis University will host the sixth-annual Running Wild 1-mile fun run, 5K and 10K races virtually beginning Oct. 15. Participants have until Dec. 1 to complete their chosen distance. Don’t care to expend your energy? Sign up for Run Wild in Your Dreams and support endangered African wildlife from the comfort of your couch. Regis Trick or Treat Street

Back by popular demand, the annual Regis Trick or Treat Street returns to the Northwest Denver Campus! Kids are invited to wear costumes and collect candy and goodies from various campus departments. This year, the entire event will be held outside on The Quad to reduce COVID-19 risks.  See you there!
