Dear reader,

This week, GLF Live is delving into two topics that will be central to the upcoming COP 26. First, renowned climate psychologist and lead author for the IPCC Susan Clayton will speak with the 14-year-old Indian activist Ridhima Pandey about the impact of climate change on the mental health of children and young people, and how this is headed toward becoming a legal issue for human rights. Then, carbon markets expert Paul Burgers will discuss the highly contentious Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, which will be the focus of the COP’s negotiations and set the global stage for carbon trading in the decade to come.

How is eco-anxiety jeopardizing the health of young people?
