Leftists Don't Know Basic Science

We’ve all heard about how liberals want everyone to “follow the science” and that conservatives are stupid because we don’t follow science. However as Ronald Reagan the Great once said “Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so.”

Take global warming for example. We hear that the oceans are rising and thus that proves that global warming or climate change exists and thus we need to give the whole world to socialism so that we will be safe. They’ll use things like Tangiers Island in Va falling into the Chesapeake Bay, or a coastal road in Hawaii/Oahu which was once several meters above the ocean, now this same road is being showered daily with water.

Well anyone who knows anything about water – knows several things.

Water is a massively destructive force. Water is heavy and it seeps into anything it touches and
Waves are powerful forces. Anyone who has ever been to the ocean and played in the waves knows that the force of a 3-4 foot wave can knock over a human being. A 5-6 foot wave will move any human being into wherever the water feels like going. So the fact that liberals cannot figure out that waves from the ocean hitting the rock in Hawaii is a destructive force which would erode the rock under the road. So here the problem is not global warming, it is a massive mistake made by engineers dozens of years ago. And instead of fixing the mistake by building a new road that is far enough away from the water to ensure that the road does not fall into the ocean - liberals want to destroy the economy because they can't or won't figure out that water/waves are destructive.

Anyone who has property near any water edge knows this too well. Or should. Every several years South Bethany Beach in Delaware needs beach replenishment because of the angles of the ocean bring water up to where the houses were originally built back in the 1960's (much in the same fashion as the highway in Oahu). Same as Tangiers Island in the Chesapeake. Waves hit the shore repeatedly over and over again for a period of 100 years, and soon the island starts to disappear. Lefites say this is because of global warming because of man made activities. Yet a rational person (such as each of you) knows that this is because water/waves are destructive.

These things may seem like common sense to the average person – but not to liberals. They’re actually nutty enough to not understand the destructive power of water and thus call for a massive wealth transfer from the middle class to the wealthy. Some will know what is going on, but most won’t. The elites know this. Thus these people will ruin their own lives to gain acceptance from an out of touch group of elites who look down on them, and us as well.

It is this same logic that allows liberals to outlaw the smashing of the egg of a bald eagle, and then call an unborn baby a “clump of cells which cannot live outside the womb”. Or say that a 5 year old boy should be allowed to determine their own gender.
