Ancestors Day
On November 1st we will have a festival day to honor our ancestors. We've celebrated this time of the year--the confluence of Halloween, Day of the Dead, Samhain---for several years and every time we collectively create a reverent and creative day. After a much-subdued event last year, the Faculty is hoping to bring back the full experience. There will be no regular classes and we are organizing workshops and activities. The Circus Is Coming to Town
If you have experience with light and sound, I'd love your help with the upcoming circus class performance on November 5th. If you have portable lighting or know where I could find some, let me know. Contact shawn@yihs.net
Carpooling: Everybody Wins
Do you drive to Madison from time to time? If so, would you consider helping transport a boarding student occasionally? We are creating a list of people willing to give a ride to a student when the need arises.
